The Federal Statistical Office regularly publishes country profiles (7 pages as PDF-files) for the G-20 advanced industrial and emerging countries based on official international statistics. They give an overview of the main statistical indicators including economy and finance, demography, social conditions and the environment.
The latest editions are those of the Republic of Korea 2009 (South Korea), Argentina 2009, China 2008 and USA 2008. These feature mainly official international statistics from UN organisations, World Bank, OECD, International Monetary Fund and other international organisations.
The older editions (Archive)[1] are primarily based on national statistical sources.
